Courageous Spaces: Creative Conversations on Race, Power, and Belonging

Why This Work Matters

Are you tired of talking in circles? Of conversations that never really shift anything? Are you up for a challenge?

  • How often do you name what’s in your heart, what you truly think and feel about history, race or global inequality?
  • And when you do, who gets to hear it? And who listens?

Truth-telling asks for courage, vulnerability, and the willingness to truly listen – skills many of us were never taught.

What Courageous Spaces Offers

This work isn’t business as usual. It’s serious, yes – but also nourishing. Sometimes joyful. At points painful. Always real. Courageous Spaces helps build the emotional and relational muscles many of us were never taught to use but urgently need.

The People Behind the Work

Developed by a collective of trainers, facilitators and consultants who met at Leap Confronting Conflict, this work draws on both professional and lived experience to support personal development, organisational change, and cultural transformation. It depends our connection to ourselves and each other and invites us into relationship – creatively, courageously, and with care.

Courageous Spaces supports organisations on long-term journeys of change, helping them invest in relationships as a foundation for impact, foster honest dialogue, and recognise that true inclusion requires transformation, not tick-box solutions.
