Leap Confronting Conflict joins Coram to scale its reach and impact with young people

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM, 30 JULY 2025 – The Leap Confronting Conflict board of trustees and CEO are delighted to announce that Leap Confronting Conflict is joining the Coram group of charities from 1 August 2025.

The Leap board of trustees and CEO are committed to significantly increasing the impact and reach of Leap’s work with young people. The aim is to deliver on the Leap Pledge – with the vision that all young people across the UK will have access to transformational conflict navigation skills.

In an increasingly divided and fractious world, the skills and tools of conflict resolution have never been more needed. This partnership with Coram will provide the networks, knowledge, and infrastructure for Leap to significantly scale reach and impact in the coming years, so that more young people can become the conflict navigators of tomorrow. Leap Confronting Conflict will become part of a collective of specialist charities and will benefit greatly from Coram’s shared expertise and influencing capacity.

The current economic climate has increased the pressure and demand on charities, especially smaller charities. The amalgamation with Coram will mean Leap Confronting Conflict will reach many more young people and create a more secure and sustainable future for this vital work. We are excited about the opportunity to be a part of the Coram Group – an institution that has been in place since 1739 dedicated to improving the life chances of children and with a reputation for excellence. By working together, we will be able to make a bigger difference to young people.

Coram Leap Confronting Conflict will continue to deliver on our vision, mission and purpose. We will remain committed to delivering high-quality programmes and services that empower young people to navigate conflicts constructively and build more inclusive, socially cohesive communities.

We will remain a charity registered within our own right within the Coram group and will transfer with all of our current staff, freelancers, and specialist trainers.

From 1 August 2025, our name will change to Coram Leap Confronting Conflict, and you will be able to find us on the Coram site. We look forward to continuing to work with our staff, specialist trainers, delivery partners, and funders to ensure that many more young people gain essential conflict navigation skills and are better equipped for the future.
